Who we are

The Changing Futures Northumbria (CFN) Programme is part of a wider national programme funded by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities (DLUHC) and The National Lottery Community Fund. It is designed to provide tailored support to those experiencing multi disadvantages, and to look at ways of improving this support.

Data we collect

By contacting CFN, you agree we will collect and process the following information:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Details relating to enquiry 


Data processing

We process your data for the purpose of providing a timely and accurate response to inbound enquires through a dedicated web form.


Data sharing

We will not share your data with any other organisations either in the United Kingdom (UK) or internationally.


Data security and storage

Any data you provide is processed using secure servers, and then securely stored in the UK. 


Data retention

CFN will retain your data for no longer than April 2025. 


Your rights

You have the following rights:

  • To ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
  • To withdraw your consent for us to use your data as specified
  • To ask us to delete data on you that we no longer need
  • To ask us to correct data about you that is incorrect
  • If you think the data we hold is incorrect, to ask us to stop using it temporarily until it is correct.

Email communication privacy notice

On an opt-in basis, CFN intend to use email newsletters to keep people in touch with what we're doing, significant learning outcomes, and forthcoming events. We aim to keep your data up to date and welcome any updates to your details or corrections to any inaccuracies you may wish to provide.


Tools may be used to help us improve the effectiveness of our communications with you, including tracking whether the emails we send are opened and which links are clicked within a message. This helps us to improve and refine future email communication.

If you would like to stop receiving email communications, you can unsubscribe at any time.


How to submit a complaint

If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, you can make a complaint to us using the contact details above. We will review your complaint and respond accordingly. If we do not resolve your complaint you can request an official review. If you then wish to pursue your complaint further, you can do so through the Information Commissioner's Office
